Kayla, Director of Trainers & Canadian Educator
Kayla McMahon is the owner of a successful salon she opened in 2019, where she has built a space focused on artistry, education, and a deep love for the craft.
With over three years as part of the Luna Method, Kayla has grown from passionate educator to Director of Trainers- helping shape the next generation of Luna educators with hands-on support and leadership rooted in experience.
As the founder of Luna Canada, Kayla has played an instrumental role in expanding the Luna Method across the country. She’s known for her warm, approachable teaching style and her commitment to maintaining the integrity and standards that make Luna different. Whether she’s behind the chair or in the classroom, Kayla is passionate about empowering stylists to elevate their work and build fulfilling, sustainable careers.
Outside of work, Kayla has a busy social life, spending time with friends, family and her dog Baxter bring her the most joy. She enjoys traveling, shopping and taking long romantic walks during sunset.

What to know: Please dress how you feel best, we are here to learn. Please know- we will be capturing tons of content so just feel good for yourself on a camera. We will be standing A LOT is wear comfy shoes. If at anytime you need to sit- please feel free.
Bring your tools, wefts, doll head, tripod, phone and tripod, tools for note taking and AN OPEN MIND.

LEARN LUNA IN PERSON.
Two days. Small group. Hands-on.
This is for the stylist who doesn’t want to watch another installation and wonder if they’re actually doing it right.
You’ll learn The Luna Method® hands-on with a licensed Luna educator, understand the mechanics behind what you’re doing, and get real-time correction while you work.
You won’t leave with two days of information and no idea what to do next.
Your education continues for six months with Luna curriculum, video access, community, and continued support as you take what you learned in class behind the chair.

Send us your actual work throughout the learning process. You’ll receive personalized feedback on what’s working, what needs to change and why.
PROVE IT ON A HUMAN.
Certification isn’t something we mail you because you watched the videos. You progress from mannequin work to human installs and grow-outs and earn certification by demonstrating competency.
